Context

The exhibition

johs-201-contexto

Apples and Frostbites was Morten Slettemeås's first exhibition with the gallery. The works explore the uneasy relationship between beauty and vulnerability in nature, drawing on his childhood in Gvarv, a region of Norway known for its apple orchards.

The show alternates figurative and abstract painting and reflects on the changing seasons, memory and the emotional force of landscape. The apple works as both symbol and atmospheric motif: abundance, change and the balance between vitality and exposure.

Digital implementation

Strategic value

An exhibition that stays open

A digital exhibition extends the life of the physical show, broadens its international reach, combines catalogue functions with an immersive experience and gives the gallery infrastructure that can grow.

The model can be reused for future exhibitions with very few changes.
