We think like architects.
Virtual Curation Studio is an exhibition design studio based in Mexico City. We design how art is experienced in three dimensions: physical, virtual and augmented space.
Behind the studio
The studio is led by Gabriel Zermeño, an architect trained at Universidad Iberoamericana with experience in architectural visualization in Mexico, Boston and Italy. For each project we build a team of curators, exhibition designers and developers based on what the work needs.
Why we exist
Art is still thought of in a single dimension: the gallery room. We believe a work can be installed with precision, visited from anywhere and experienced in ways physical space does not allow. Digital does not replace the room; it extends it.
What sets us apart
Before we digitize or build anything, we understand its scale, its light and how people move through it. That is why our virtual spaces feel real and our real spaces are planned without surprises.
